 Bouygues Telecom is again trying to increase rates for some B & You mobile plans

Customers of the package B & You 20 GB at 4.99 euros per month may be charged 20 GB of additional data, for an increase of 4 euros.

If you are if you have a B & You 20 GB mobile plan at 4.99 euros per month, you must be vigilant. Bouygues Telecom has just launched a new campaign to increase tarifs, with more data. Thus, you may receive an email or an SMS announcing an evolution of your plan with a change from 20 GB to 40 GB, as well as a change from 3 to 5 GB of mobile Internet for use in Europe and in the overseas departments. These benefits are not free, and the price of the package goes from 4.99 euros per month to 8.99 euros per month. The changes will take effect in early August.

Fortunately, it is possible to refuse this offer by using the refusal link which is indicated in the email, or by going to the Activities section of your customer account.

Bouygues Telecom is used to this type of increase and had already made an attempt last month, as denounced by UFC-Que Choisir , by offering an additional 20 GB to customers of the 20 GB package until July 1, then by increasing the subscription price. Some customers of the B & You 40 GB package at 9.99 euros per month have seen their price drop to 12.99 euros per month, for 60 GB of data.

Note that some offers can be refused, by acting on time, but that this is not always the case. In this case, the customer has only two choices: accept the increase or terminate his plan free of charge.

The mobile plan "for life and the operators are generally free to change the terms or the prices of their subscriptions.
