Microsoft Teams will make your meetings more dynamic

Microsoft Teams has a new feature that should help improve the visibility of slideshows and keynote speakers during meetings and events.

The new feature, dubbed Dynamic View, will be rolled out worldwide on Teams for desktop in March. Spotted as Windows Latest , the controls should help boost engagement by automatically adjusting the size of shared content, like slides, in a group meeting or event. Participants also have the option display the slides and a keynote speaker in a larger frame, next to each other.

This should improve the experienceMeetings in the current version of the Teams app, which only displays the presenter or attendee in a small frame when attendees watch shared content.

Customize View

"Digital Signage automatically optimizes shared content and Teams meeting participants. New controls allow you to customize the display to suit your preferences and needs, such as the ability to show shared content and specific participants side by side ”, explains Microsoft in its roadmap.

Microsoft has posted a short video on LinkedIn to demonstrate the new featureity, dynamically adjusting shared content and key stakeholders.

Another new feature of Teams meetings, which will come in February, is the custom layout. Microsoft has unveiled this feature in September , as well as new shared scenes for the mode "Together " - a feature that uses AI to segment the faces of meeting participants and immerse them in a shared virtual room, such as an auditorium, cafe, or conference room.

Revitalize Meeting Tunnels

Microsoft developed Together Mode to survive endless video conferencing tunnels for people working from home during the global pandemic. Microsoft researchers believe this will make people feel more connected and reduce fatigue from video meetings.

The custom layout helpspresent content in a more dynamic way, but it also allows presenters to focus their audience's attention on the content through hand gestures and facial cues, without the viewer having to choose between presenter and content .

"Presenters will be able to customize the presentation of content for meeting attendees, including overlaying their video over content or moving their content box to a corner of the video view," explains Microsoft.
