While the website has recently adopted the dark theme , this was not yet the case application . Facebook was the last social network to have to adopt a black theme for its application, the new functionality intended to rest the eyes and the battery is available today for some iOS users.
The Facebook interface will not be completely black as we can see in Instagram and Messenger. It is rather a design in grayscale with white accents for logos and icons. This decision will certainly be controversial among Facebook users.
Users will be able to manually activate or deactivate the Facebook dark theme via the panel application settings , but it will also be possible to adjust the appearance according to your iOS preferences . This means that the application will change automatically its appearance depending on the settings of your phone.

Some users showed on Twitter this week that they now have a new setting in the Facebook application to activate the dark theme. To access it, just open the Facebook application, tap on the three lines in the lower right corner and search for the section "Settings and privacy.
