The new season of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, the colo platform gameMediatonic battle royale game, will add new games inspired by the Middle Ages. The developer announced the news today during Gamescom celebrations; players will be able to compete against each other through games inspired by medieval designs.
In Fall Guys, players compete in mini-games with 60 players per elimination. The games are simple - race to the finish line, obstacle course or memory match - but quick and fun to run. New additions, coming in October, include "Feudal Strongholds, Stun Knights, and Fist Paladins, as well as new costumes, emotes and more."
Following its release earlier this month, Fall Guys became an instant hit. The game has sold over 7 million copies on Steam et currently holds the crown of the most downloaded PS Plus game of all time. A mobile version - but only in China - is currently in the works.
